An interviewer asked John McCain, “If you decide to run again in 2008, what would you do differently?”
(McCain lost the Republican primary to George W. Bush, after a particularly heated and vicious battle in South Carolina.)
McCain’s answer was classic:
I wouldn’t do anything differently. Look, after I lost in South Carolina, I slept like a baby: I slept two hours and woke up and cried.
